Road Closures
Main Street in Wareham will be closed from Center Street to Sawyer Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 28 for the Wareham Oyster Festival. Please do not use parking spaces in that area the night before the event, as we will be working on cleanup.
Brief additional road closures will occur in the area between 10 and 11 a.m. during the Oyster Festival 5K to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Wareham.
During these times, traffic will be re-directed to High Street and/or Merchants Way. Festival organizers apologize for any inconvenience.
Parking
Plenty of parking is available throughout downtown Wareham. For the easiest access, park in the lot next to Town Hall (54 Marion Road, Route 6), and walk approximately four blocks (about 4/10 mile) to the festival site.
